If it were to stretch that much once anyone turned their boost up to 13-17 psi, as is common with stock turbos you'd be ripping those hoses right apart. Especially with hose clamps with are hell on rubber connections anyway, and the fact the air going through them would be far hotter at higher pressure. Also you could probabily run 30psi on stock hoses, and not have them expand enough to cause much of a loss in power. You had to have fixed something else while changing your hoses, like a boost leak of somekind.
